Q. What is included in my registration?
A. Three half-days of workshops and networking.

Q. How soon can I register?
A. Registration opens September 22, 2020.

Q. When is the last day that I can register?
A. The last day to register is November 12, 2020, at 11:59 pm PST.

Q. What if I need to cancel my registration?
A. Friday, November 13, 2020, is the last day to cancel and receive a refund. If you cancel, your registration fee will be refunded less $25.00 + GST. Refunds will be issued after the event and will not be given to no-shows. We encourage you to transfer your registration to another person if you are unable to attend. Please contact events@bccampus.ca for any cancellation and transfer requests.

Q. I’ve misplaced my conference receipt. How do I get a replacement?
A. Contact events@bccampus.ca to request a duplicate receipt.

Q. I am a B.C. post-secondary student. How do I register?
A. When registering, select your institution from the drop-down menu and choose "Student" as your role. This will prompt you to enter your program and year of study. Please register with your institutional email address to help us verify that you are a student.
Studio20: Engaging Learners Online

Q. Where is Studio20 being held?
A. Studio20 is an entirely virtual event.

Q. Do I need any specific hardware to attend the virtual event?
A. Just a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or cellphone. Reminder to turn on your speakers and your built-in microphone or to use a headset of some kind (recommended for higher quality).

Q. Will there be a recording of the event?
A. Yes, the three keynotes will be recorded and shared publicly on BCcampus.ca, post-event.

Q. When will I have access to the event?
A. Access will be sent to attendees five days prior to the event.

Q. Who is expected to attend Studio20?
A. The audience will include students, teachers, librarians, faculty members, administrators, leaders, educational developers, instructional designers, and educational technologists involved in teaching and learning in British Columbia and beyond.

Q. How do I log in?
A. You will receive an invite and log in with your email address.

Q. Are there any social events planned?
A. Yes, there will be engagement opportunities throughout the event.

Q. Can I host a meeting during Studio20?
A. The platform allows you to find attendees and request 1-1 meetings. We encourage all attendees to fill out their profiles.

Q. How can I receive updates on the Studio20 event?
A. To receive email updates, please subscribe to the BCcampus newsletter.

Q. Are you offering childcare?
A. Yes, we are offering virtual childcare, provided by HELM Life and suitable for children ages 3 to 12. Care will be offered in 40-minute increments for a maximum of two sessions per child each day.

Q. How does childcare work?
A. You request care through the event registration, set up an account on the HELM Life site (super short and easy sign-up), select the activities your child or children would like to attend, enter the code that BCcampus has provided you, and you're all set. The privacy agreement is available under the "sign up" tab and is available before signing up.
